About the position
As a QA Engineer, you will be a champion for quality within our development team. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans to identify and eliminate issues throughout the software development lifecycle. Your keen eye and analytical skills will ensure our products are functional, reliable, and meet the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute tests (manual and automated)
- Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and UI/UX design documents, providing timely feedback.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Prioritize and plan testing activities.
- Document and report defects, ensuring clear and detailed information for the development team. Support troubleshoot issues.
- Communicate testing progress, results, and potential risks to project stakeholders and management.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify areas for process and quality improvements and contribute to enhancing the overall QA processes within the organization.
What You Come with
- Background in Software Engineering, Information Management System or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, planning & organizing, and attention to detail.
- Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements.
